Disembark, then... Go to work??

I do this all the time as a way to maximize my allotted vacation days. Many of my cruises (and land trips) are overseas. I will often fly home, arrive late afternoon or eveming from Europe and be at my desk the next morning. The worst was probably my most recent -- traveled home about 24 hours from Singapore, arrived home around 6pm and went to work next day.

I guess on the upside, it *is* a Friday so it's not like I'd be setting myself up to work the full week... Just one day!

 

I've done what several have mentioned.. Most recently last month coming off a week long land (sort of flight heavy) vacation... Arrived home after midnight, in work the next morning (on time at that!)
