jkjmt Posted April 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2015 How many days??? We'd never do an interior....We use the balcony way too much...but, we don't really drink and we don't gamble. BUT....We LOVE the Breeze. Best ship ever....so I'd take any room on that ship.
nessz79 Posted April 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2015 I've done an interior once. DH enjoyed it, but I really didn't like not being able to see what is going on outside - it's pretty cave-like to me. I would only do an interior on a short cruise. I do feel a balcony is worth it. Have you done a balcony before?
Karebear98 Posted April 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2015 I feel so rested sleeping in a interior cabin it's so dark it's great. No worries you will be on vacation have fun Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Forums mobile app
sweetshell637 Posted April 12, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Haha 6 days. Was on the magic last year in a balcony and only used it twice so...
CruisinTeacher4 Posted April 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Wish I could assure you but every time we book an interior I always upgrade[emoji14] but if you barely used the balcony when you had it I wouldn't spend the money. Lido is such an awesome deck to be on with or without a balcony[emoji295]️
Gopherpharm Posted April 12, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Don't obsess - plan your activities in port and enjoy the great outdoor areas all over the ship! You'll have a great time.
Namelocg Posted April 12, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Whenever I sail solo which is quite often I always get an interior, no matter what ship. If I need to check the weather or want to see if the sun is up I turn the TV to the lido deck or forward camera channel. Works great for me. Rockypoint Posted April 13, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 13, 2015 You will be just fine. We booked three balconies in a row and then opted for an interior on our last cruise and have now booked an interior for our next one. We had no problem with an interior. Truly the only thing that concerns me is not having the couch although didn't use that either. I guess I just like they layout of the balcony but I'm sure I'll be ok! Thanks!! The thought of upgrading to a balcony keeps happening but I realllllllly don't want to spend the money. Soon my interior will be JUST fine, RIGHT?! If you're going to do an interior cabin, in my opinion the Lido is the best deck. You have a pool, entertainment & food steps from your cabin door. picomullet Posted April 13, 2015 #13 Share Posted April 13, 2015 On the Breeze and Magic my cabin choice will always be a spa inside. I love the spa extras that come with that cabin. I sleep so well on an inside!
picomullet Posted April 13, 2015 #14 Share Posted April 13, 2015 On the lido deck you can go out to the front deck or back to the fun, food etc.. Great location IMO.
nycchic12 Posted April 13, 2015 #15 Share Posted April 13, 2015 I got off the Breeze on Saturday. I had a Spa Balcony and I used the balcony for a grand total of around 40 minutes all week. You will be fine with an interior. Enjoy!
RjayB Posted April 13, 2015 #16 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Have you considered a regular outside cabin? Cheaper than a balcony, but you still get to see the ocean. Personally i could not do an inside (too claustrophobic) but can live with just a window:)

sjn911 Posted April 13, 2015 #19 Share Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) I always end up in an interior...I have had a porthole like window in middle of lower deck on old style ship and a balcony mini suite and window cabin with a friend. I am really trying for at least a window next time but the great budget always get's me and I have twice checked what cabins are left as well as one can and booked and inside guarantee last minute..only way I could go both times and got about where I would think it was ok each time. However..selecting LIDO inside cabin sounds like baby bear's porridge..before a window or balcony to me if I want to do alot. Once on the ship..I get so happy nothing matters LOL...but being in that location on that ship....and saving money for everything...GREAT!!!! Have a blast... vwrestler171 Posted April 13, 2015 #20 Share Posted April 13, 2015 I'm doing my first interior in November. Normally I wouldn't think about one, but if its the choice between cruise and no cruise, the interior will be fine for me. If the price drops I may upgrade, but I'm fine if it doesn't

cruising maniac Posted April 13, 2015 #22 Share Posted April 13, 2015 I can't convince you that an interior will be fine. To me, it is like going to the beach and having a view of the parking lot. Just don't see the point. Just my opinion. And my DH agrees fortunately.
sweetshell637 Posted April 13, 2015 Author #23 Share Posted April 13, 2015 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1965624 Thanks!!! I'm closer to the front but still in lido! Appreciate it!
Jenhem31 Posted April 13, 2015 #24 Share Posted April 13, 2015 I had an interior on the Breeze in February. First time, we have always had a balcony. It was fine. A little boring as there was nothing to look at, but adequate enough. It was still a nice room.
Jennkean Posted April 22, 2015 #25 Share Posted April 22, 2015 My husband would prefer a balcony or oceanview. We've done both and honestly don't understand paying the extra price, unless it's only a few dollars more. I now just get guaranteed inside and the last couple of times have been upgraded to an oceanview for the same price. On one of the cruises we only paid an additional $50 per person for a balcony so it made sense, but my husband hardly ever went on it, so I definitely wouldn't want to pay a lot extra. For me, I just sleep and change in the cabin, the rest of the time I'm out of there. I don't go on a cruise to stay in my room. I'd rather go on more cruises than pay the extra just so that I have a balcony. Just my opinion.
