silver wedding Posted April 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Anyone been in cabins L101 to L104, how obstructed is the view and what is the cabin layout. I have looked at the pictures but would like a view from someone who has actually been in these cabins before I book one. Thank you
kevinyork Posted April 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2015 If you scroll down this page you can see the exact obstruction from each cabin. https://ask.pocruises.com/help/PO/fleet/obstructed-views/VE_obs You may have seen them already. Its the area on top of the bridge and the rails around it pass by the windows of those cabins. Not much of an obstruction really. Passengers used to be able to access that area on rare occassions (Venice arrival/Departure) but as far as I know its not open to the public at all now. insanemagnet Posted April 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2015 That area was open last year, so is that a recent change?

insanemagnet Posted April 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Ah, your knowledge may be more recent than mine. In 5 Azura/Ventura cruises weve only seen it open once leaving Venice, When I was on Ventura last summer, that area was open every day for the 14 days I was on board, and was only closed one evening when the weather was 'interesting' (force 7/8). Those cabins had lots of people walking past whenever the ship was entering or leaving port, and other random people at other times. I don't think I ever walked past when the curtains were not drawn in every cabin.
