Horseback riding recommendations in San Juan

We would like to go horseback riding, but are unable to book with the cruise line (Disney) due to my son's age. Disney only accepts ages 9 and older for their horseback riding excursion. I contacted Campo Rico, as they have horseback riding tandem from age 2-5 and then alone for ages 6 and up. Turns out they have a contract with Disney.....even though Disney does not offer their excursion for ages under 9....and they still will not let us book with them directly.

 

Anyone have any recommendations? We were just going to visit the forts and walk around Old San Juan...so we can always do that if this doesn't pan out.
