Golfing on Catalina Island

Thinking of golfing on Catalina Island. Has anyone played this course and is it worth it?

Hi,

It's been a few years, but yes my husband and I played here. As I recall it was 9 holes, of course you could pay and do another round. One time was certainly fine. It is what it IS. A fun little course. Some so so "landscaping" but hey we were there to enjoy a little weekend getaway. Last year I took our son on Spring Break. No golf, I chose kayaking instead ..... This November my husband and I will be sailing...Defintely will do the golf 'excursion'. :)

I'll compare pricing. We took our own clubs last time. We drive to the Port, so no airplane costs for extra luggage.

No idea how green it will be because we are experiencing a severe drought in California.

 

Only play Mini Golf. It's a challenging course.

I was in Avalon last week. The course is in ok shape. The greens are green, the fairways for the most part are green. It is a tough, but fun, 9 holes.

Give it a try.... Drive the 1st hole from the top...quite a challenge.
