Waianaegal522 Posted April 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) We picked up / rescued 9 Cubans adrift at sea last Monday in the Carribbean. The ship has not cleared yet for disembarkation at 0945am... We had not heard if they were put off at any of the ports.... Could this be the delay in leaving the ship?? Carnac767 Posted April 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2015 They're probably working in the galley now.

roger001 Posted April 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2015 Since the Sun had the recent cocaine misadventure, she has been getting a bit more scrutiny when debarking lately. Maybe that's it.
pmflan1 Posted April 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) I just got off the sun. The 12 Cubans were trying to get to Mexico. They were on the raft for 12 days , had no water left and only had a few crackers left to eat. They were put off at the first port, which was roatan. I understand the crew took up a collection for them before they disembarked. It was pretty exciting to watch the rescue. Sorry 9 Cubans, on raft for 12 days Edited April 19, 2015 by pmflan1
