Hosting a party in a suite?

I don't know how long ago you cruised but this new policy regarding alcohol just went into effect a couple of months ago. You might want to check to be sure what you can do. Wouldn't want to spoil your cruise with a big hassle.

Could you tell me if you had to pay for the food when you hosted parties in the RS?? I am on Mariner in the RS on Oct. 2nd and would like to host a party for 45-50. What do you think in your experience something like this could run??
