Embarkation on Carnival fantasy

Can we board prior to 12:30 without the faster to the fun card? or will we be stuck standing on the curb? We are doing the stay and cruise package at the hotel and need to be checked out in the morning We have 2 young children in tow so if we will be stuck standing outside on the curb I would like to know! I have heard some people able to get on earlier but we have never sailed Carnival.

Note even if you can board, you cabin will not be ready until 1:30, so try not to have too much carry on. Just the kids will be a handful.

We have sailed on the Fantasy many times. We park at the port. They open the parking at 11:15 and we are usually on board well before noon. There are lines but they move fast. You do not stand outside but in a line inside waiting, after having your carry-ons x-rayed, for the next person to check you in.

If available you can purchase Faster to the FUn which lets you by pass lines.

 

Check out at 11 and then head to the pier. check in and grab a seat- you will not be standing on a curb outside

you still will have to wait to board which happens between 11:30 and noon.

 

Just note that cabins are not available until 1:30 so whatever you carry on you have to take it with you until then.
