Is there a way to know ahead of time if you will tender?

We are visiting Charlottetown, PEI, Gaspe, and Saguenay. I know there is a good chance we will tender in those ports but wondering if there is a way to know for sure.

NCL should be available to tell you.

NCL phone reps should know, but we all have seen how that goes.

 

That information does appear on your eDocs, like so... but obviously that information isn't available to you until your eDocs are ready.

I wonder if it appears that way if you have things excursions booked through the cruise line? I just checked both of the eDocs of I have printed for the Jade and neither have it listed that way. One of the ports is Santorini which only has tendering and it says nothing except for the arrival and departure time.

 

Now I have to go play around on MyNCL. Did you print that after check in where it says print eDocs?

Yeah, after check-in, NCL site, Print eDocs.

 

You can see in Mazatlan we had no excursions scheduled and it still shows DOCK.

 

I just looked at a few older eDocs and tender/dock are indicated in a similar fashion.

After final payment, and usually about 30 or 45 days out, eDocs become available on MyNCL.

 

...sometimes sooner.
