Going on allure do you book a time for things like zip line?

Hi all

Off on allure in a couple of weeks, just wondering if you have to book a time for things like zip lines and rock climbing wall? I'm guessing they can be pretty busy, or do you just get in line???

Get in line. I waited until the last day to zip line and there were only 2 people ahead of me. It's very short, so the line goes pretty quickly anyway.

I'm guessing sea says, especially afternoon would have the longest line for these things? Are they always open?

According to the Compass I looked at from a port day, zip line hours are 1-5:30 pm. I think it's the same sea days, I remember it wasn't open all the time.

Also, make sure you have closed toe shoes, preferably tennis shoes. I had a pair of casual sneakers that laced and I wore without socks. The guy put his foot against my heel and asked me to try to step out of my shoe to see if it would easily slip off. No slip on shoes allowed.

The best time, IMO, to do any of the activities that you really want to do is when they open on the day you board. My kids were the only two kids on the flow rider on Liberty for awhile a few weeks ago on boarding day because I knew to get their waivers done right away. Everyone else sat on the benches waiting until it opened, when they made the announcement no one could ride without a waiver...while they all stood in line, my kids rode over and over. The line that day was still better than any other day. It was always swamped after that.

 

On the Allure, I got on the zip line when it opened and no one else was there. As a pp said, that line goes faster. You just need to be prepared with proper footware.
