coco33 Posted May 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2015 My ship arrives in Seattle at 7 am, and we are staying in Seattle for the whole day/overnight. This is the itinerary that I created. 7:00 am leave ship and go to SEA TAC hotel, 11:00 am come back to the city and take a Seattle tour that lasts 3 hours 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm go to the Space Needle and Chihuly Glass Museum 5:30 pm take the Ferry to Bainbridge Island Come back at 7:30-8 pm Finally comeback to the hotel via light rain at 9 pm Is this acceptable time wise? Is there more things I can add to this or no? Thanks in advance for the responses.
maggie.1008 Posted May 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2015 Sounds like too much for one day. You will be really tired. Don`t over plan.
VibeGuy Posted May 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I think this seems perfectly reasonable - you might be able to make it back into Seattle a bit sooner, but I'm not optimistic you'll be able to disembark promptly at 7, so it balances out. Check a sunrise/sunset table and time your return on the ferry for sunset. I'm thinking dinner on Bainbridge sounds excellent. Perhaps Marche or Hitchcock. Working 2 Cruise Posted May 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2015 You should not plan on disembarked at 7:00 a.m. if you do the self-disembark, the earliest would probably be around 8.... then, if everything goes well, I.e., customs, etc. You could be out of the terminal by 8:30. That's in the best of circumstances.
Dan G Posted May 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2015 why not do a post cruise city tour with luggage and drop at the hotel? Even better cab to downtown, park luggage at any downtown hotel, do the city stuff, then pick up bags and return to airport hotel. Your spending two hrs or more in transit just to drop off bags. toursnorthwest.com or customizedtours.net
