whatevergoes Posted May 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Has anyone done the afternoon high Tea at The Perfumery, what has the cost, it's it wonderful and how did you get there? Had planned on going to tea at Hamilton Princess, but it is closed for construction until September according their concierge. Thanks!!
BeachMartini Posted May 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2015 I don't know the answer to your question but doesn't it seem crazy that they would close for construction during high season? Too bad, we really enjoyed having tea there!
diamondella Posted May 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2015 It's called Sweet P, and they have a facebook page, don't know if it will have the information you need, I can't access FB from work so I couldn't check it. Thanks for asking the question, I didn't even know they did a high tea.

My parents are staying there on a land vaca right now and when they called to check in they say there is a lot of construction going on. :( Sweet P's is reached via email sweetpbermuda@hotmail.com

Had planned on going to tea at Hamilton Princess, but it is closed for construction until September according their concierge. Thanks!! https://www.bermuda-perfumery.com/contact/ Here's the link to Bermuda Perfumery's "Contact Us" page. Can't find anything about tea there, but you could contact them and ask. We stopped by their shop in St. George on our Summit cruise last year -- but did not notice a tea room. If you like unique perfumes, it's worth the time to drop by, anyway. Strange that the Fairmont Princess has not finished their remodel/construction yet. Their tea-room was closed last September -- same reason. We had some very disappointed roll-callers on our cruise! :(

I wanted to go back to the Princess for their tea (it was wonderful) and was disappointed to hear that the construction is still going on. I was thinking about the Southampton Princess, but the cab fare will be more than the tea. When are you going? We'll be on Summit leaving from Bayonne on 5/31. whatevergoes Posted May 15, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Did you determine how much the can fare would be to the hotel?
iheartbda Posted May 15, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Did you determine how much the can fare would be to the hotel? The Southampton Princess is approximately 9 miles from Dockyard so, $7.90 for the first mile and $2.75 for each additional mile plus tip will give you a guesstimate. Here's a post from a couple of years ago on the tea at the Perfumery. Start at post#45, lots of pictures. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1628751&highlight=perfumery+tea&page=

whatevergoes Posted May 20, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted May 20, 2015 You are so welcome. I will let you all know how the high tea was and how we got there. We think we are going for the royal tea for the "Maine Lobster Sliders". Who could resist that menu item? 4 days until we sail☺☺☺
