Best Location for Sailaway - Breakaway

Hi Folks,

Only cruised once out of New York on the Breakaway. When we did we had an aft cabin and watched the sailaway from our balcony. (Great Location) We are going again in a couple weeks but have a port cabin this time. I am thinking in order to take everything in we will need to be topside somewhere, (Skyline left Statue of Liberty right) Does anyone have any favorite or recommended locations on deck where we should be able to see everything? TIA

Deck 8 AFT

I have lovely pictures from there posted on one of the CC Forums regarding Aft balcony and why choose them. Maybe later today, I'll post more (can't right now, I'm on cell phone and Tapatalk is not working properly.)

If seeing everything (NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty, etc) are important go to deck 18.

Otherwise, port side balcony for skyline leaving and SOL coming back (very early in the a.m.)

Have a great cruise!

Thank You....deck 18 sounds like a good plan. (We would like to be able to see everything sailing out as we might not be up early enough to see SOL on return) Another suggestion of Waterfront Deck 8 aft was also a good one. I would guess that Spice will be very crowded and not sure we would want to be there for Sailaway. I will definitely check out deck 18 as soon as we board to see if it looks like it will have a good view of both sides (I'm sure it will) Thanks again and we are really looking forward to this cruise! :)
