Walking directions to Junkanoo Beach

I had a great direction bookmarked from this thread but lost it!!

 

I remember something about Senior Frogs and turning right......Can someone please give me decent, easy to follow, directions to Junkanoo from the ship?

Walk out of the port onto the first street. Turn right. Walk along the shore until you reach the first beach, which is Junkanoo. It's about a 5-8 minute walk. Along the way you'll pass Senor Frog's and the British Colonial Hilton.

I agree with Donny-Joe. Pretty easy to find. Safe walk other than broken sidewalks. (Don't trip! :eek:)

Here's a quick map. It's 0.6 miles, which is about 10 minutes walk. The big area that interrupts Bay Street that you have to go around contains Senor Frog's, the BCH, a few offices and Fat Tuesdays.

Is the beach here nice?

The beach is not spectacular by any means. But it is a beach. It is close to the port and an excellent way to cool off on a hot day.

I bookmarked this map (post #13). It captures the walk to Junkanoo along with some other things along the way
