maggie2010 Posted May 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2015 Looking at booking on Voyager of the seas in Balcony cabin but was wondering how the beds configure for 4 adults. Is there just the queen bed & sofa in each cabin or are some cabins set up for 4 people.
Grandma Dazzles Posted May 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2015 Not sure about the Voyager exactly, but if you check RC deck plans the configuration for cabins is marked by a symbol key. Examples might include the standard queen or split into two twins, with two Pullman type bunks over them. Or, a sofa bed type sleeper. Be advised that the sofa type sleeper could be small for two adults. A standard balcony cabin is doable for 4 adults, but very tight. Bathroom is not really that big for 4. cb at sea Posted May 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2015 Some cabins have a sofa bed that sleep 2...some have 2 pullmans...some have a sofa bed and a pullman....you just have to look at the deck plans, as the cabins are clearly marked. Pullmans are generally above the main beds.....but are more comfortable than a sofa bed...at least, for adults! Kids are fine anywhere.

I have sailed with 5 of us to an inside-- and it was very tight. but 4 of those were kids. Cant imagine 4 adults-- who gets the beds-- and who gets the sofa/ upper beds?? it might not be all that much more to get connecting cabins
clm1982 Posted May 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2015 It would mostly likely be a sofa bed and a normal queen bed or a queen and 2 pullman beds. To be honest i would get 2 x interior connecting rooms over having 4 adults in one balcony!
