Westin Long Beach

Hi - I am staying at the Westin Long Beach Saturday September 24th - has anyone stayed there before and can i get any feed back please ? :)

Annette-I have stayed at the Westin several times and you will love it. Very nice hotel and they have a lot to offer around the hotel. There is a great little Jazz club right behind the hotel, just ask them at the front desk and they will point it out to you. You can also visit the Aquarium, Queen Mary, the new Pike and try 2nd street about 3 or 4 miles down the road.

Eat at the Yard House or PF Changs next to Queen Mary, both great restaurants.

Sept. 24 is the last day of a convention group at the Westin; Mystery Shopping Association. It is centrally located.

Also several good restaurants on Pine Street (about three blocks). L'Opera is my favorite (Italian restaurant with a great wine list, in a converted old bank. It's not cheap, but very good). If you like fish, try King's Fish, also on Pine Street.

thank you all so much - I am now counting down until next saturday to get out of IL and relax on vacation !! I will definelty utilise all of the suggestions :D
