Riley's Mom Posted May 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2015 My daughter and myself are both Platinum, I've noticed that we each have a $45 onboard credit for a 7 night cruise. That amounts to $15 for 3 loads of laundry which is what's allowed for Platinum members. My question is this: If we don't take advantage of the free laundry service, will we be able to keep the $15 per load of laundry on our S&S acct as a credit? In the past we have always used all our laundry privledges so didn't see a credit at the end of the cruise. Anyone have knowledge of this? Thank you, Carla
near the beach Posted May 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2015 This is relativity new. For us we did not see any credit until we actually sent out laundry. The amount of credit equaled the amount we sent out.
Rod in Az Posted May 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2015 The first time we saw this on our account was this February. It took me a moment to process what it was although it clearly indicated what the credit was for. We didn't use it, and it was not retained as a credit on our account, it just went away on our final statement.

They put the credit on your account at the beginning of the cruise. The offsetting charge shows up if you use the service. Otherwise, the credit is removed at the end of the cruise. theriac Posted May 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2015 If you do the 5 bags for $50 deal will they only charge an additional $5 or will we be charged $30 more?

wrigley80 Posted May 13, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 13, 2015 I noticed this for the first time on the Breeze in March. It's one of those things that you've got to use it or you lose it

I never have any problem using our 6 bags.:D Edited May 13, 2015 by ready2cruzagain
