June7th cruise. I've never used the FTTF but alot of people seem to think it's a good thing, so I thought I would give it a try for our 3 cabins. Could anyone kind of guide me thru the steps I will take using it out of Galveston. We only tender in to one port and that's Belize.

Depending on when you arrive at the port in Galveston, the lines can get pretty long. If you have 3 cabins, you have to buy 3 fttf. Early tends to be crowded, after 1, not so much.

They know you have it because the fttf symbol prints on your luggage tag and boarding pass. Point it out to the porter because they will also mark your luggage with orange tape. Before the main door to the terminal, you will see a door with a roped off walkway, this is for you. Go there and you will be directed to your security line. After security clearance, you will see a roped off escalator, this is yours, show your pass and be on your way. I'd so do it.

The fttf symbol is also on you sail and sign card, so that is how they know for tendering. I have not had a tender port with priority status yet, so don't know how you line up for it.

How do they know you have FTTF when you arrive with luggage and also when tendering do you just walk right past everyone in the line?

Assuming nothing changes between now and then:

Your luggage tag will have the "FTTF" logo printed on it, the porter will take care of everything else with your luggage. They place a colored sticker on your luggage tag to alert luggage handlers that the luggage is part of the "FTTF" program.

With tendering, you go to guest services and will be escorted to the tender

When you arrive at Galveston, look for the "Priority" line, and it will take you to check in for "FTTF" passengers. If you have trouble locating it, any Carnival staff member will be able to direct you.

See you on the Magic....

Forgot to add, at top of escalator there is a carnival rep who will ask for your Ebola form and point you to the fttf check in lines. After that, I don't know what happens, that is the point where fttf and platinum/diamonds separate. My understanding is, you board right after them and you wait in separate area. I've never gotten there before boarding started, so going by what I hear.

We just got off of the Magic on Sunday and FTTF was great for us. We had it for both cabins and we had a baby, toddler, and two seniors with us so it was a big help.

When you arrive at terminal, tell the porter that you FTTF. They will tag it correctly. Our checked luggage arrived at 4 pm.

We arrived at the terminal at 1:40 and it was packed. Long line extending to outside the doors. We skipped it all with the FTTF. There will be representatives at every corner of the way to show you where you need to go. The line to get our sail and sign room key was very long but there is a special area to the left where you get yours as a FTTF or platinum member. Very easy.

As for tendering at a port, you head to guest services and go to the FTTF or Platinum line, they will tell you where to wait and someone will meet you there to take you to your tender boat to shore. There is nothing for FTTF for the way back though so keep that in mind.

When you arrive back at your home port, you be given instructions on where to go the night before you arrive. Make sure you check in with someone when you depart because we were placed in the wrong room and got off of the ship a little later than we had to. We had #1 but were placed in the wrong spot. Worked out great though
