stuart2468 Posted May 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Have just booked a balcony cabin with the Aurea Experience on board the Divina for a western Caribbean sailing on 05/03/16. Booked it as part of my partners 40th birthday celebration and hoping to tie it in with a week visiting New Orleans. So excited. Does this ship differ greatly from the Preziosa? That was my first cruise and loved it! By the way, my first post! Edited May 15, 2015 by stuart2468
cruisingcanadian Posted May 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2015 If you loved the Preziosa you will love the Divina ; they are in the same class and very similar ships. I loved the Divina very much,I consider her one of the most beautiful ships, and the service in the Caribbean had been wonderful (not so much on the Splendida in the Med. a few years ago). And by the way-welcome to the Cruise Critic!:)
bonvoyagebites Posted May 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2015 We have a review with lots of pictures on our travel blog. Part 2 was just posted today. Take a peek. Feedback on the blog is welcome, as well (it's only been around a month or so, so be gentle).
stuart2468 Posted May 18, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted May 18, 2015 The Preziosa was stunning. And i fully expect Divina to be the same. For comparison, i sailed on Allure of the Seas this past January and have to say whilst the sheer size of Allure is impressive, it offers very little wow factor on the inside. I even felt some of the decor was dated. bonvoyagebites: I will take a look at your review, and promise to be gentle. :)
