Booking and Paying for Speciality Dining

If you pre-book any speciality dining online, before your cruise, do you have to pay there and then? Or is it treated as a reservation that can be settled by OBC?

If you book pre cruise then you have to pay up front.

Unfortunately, yes, you pay right then and there.

If you get on board and find a "deal" (often the first night there is a % off and very often on other nights, particularly if you ask), then you will be cheerfully refunded the difference onto your account. We always book ahead of time to get the day and time we want, but then we often get some returned.
