Budget Queen....need help in Sitka

We're leaving in another day for our Alaska cruise. Can you give us some help finding the laundromat in Sitka. We've been trying to go through back posts and are running out of time. Dave found a reference to a hotel but there was no hotel name or street name. This may be our one shot to getting a few things washed.

Are you going to Skagway? That is the most convenient, located on 2nd and State, 1 block from the shuttle bus stop if needed.

Thanks...we're just exploring our options. We are going to Skagway, but it's one of the first stops and doubt that we'll have much laundry at that point. Sitka is the last stop in Alaska and one where we don't have excursions planned which is why we're asking. We want to go to the Raptor Center, but will have extra time there. This is a 14-day cruise for us on a ship with no passenger laundry facilities. If we can't work it out otherwise, we'll bite the bullet and use the ship's laundry. We appreciate your help.

I would use the ship's laundry -- I would hate to spend any of my time in Alaska babysitting the machines. The laundry costs are going to be a tiny part of your cruise cost, believe me!
