Beach and Bar

In Belize you'll need to take an excursion (either thru the ship or private) to get to a beach.

In Belize you will have the opportunity to snorkel in the Barrier Reef (2nd Largest in the World) on excursions.

Doing this would be great for your older teens. It's amazing! :)

There are a couple of bars on the tender pier. Wet Lizard has a place on th edock and the original up stairs. Gets crowded around lunch. If you go outside the tender pier gates, hang a left and walk about 3 blocks to the swing bridge, cross the swing bridge and bear left down Albert Street you'll come to Bird's Isle. It's a restaurant and bar with a patio overlooking the harbor. The nearest mainland beach is a 15-20 minute taxi ride away. It's called Cucumber Beach. It's in an area known as Old Belize. man made lagoon used primarily by locals. But there is a small restaurant/bar there. Hours during the week and at certain slow times during the year may be flucky. You can google "old Belize" and get some more detail.

Otherwise, as O'Cruisers suggests, take an excursion.
