Lowest price you have had for a 7 day balcony?

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure what the purpose of this exercise is. If your only criteria is budget pricing, then it might matter.

There are so many variables, the ship, the season, the deck, the type of balcony, that comparisions are basically useless.

Unless you are out to prove that Carnival is the Walmart of the seas, what is the point of this post?

I can't answer for the OP, but I'll tell you why this post interests me.

I like to research everything & get the best for my money, which is why I found CC. I know different itineraries, different lines, different ships, all kinds of things matter. But, I've seen so many posts about awesome deals others have gotten that are so low, the different aspects wouldn't matter much. I'd want to book the same thing as just an extra cruise to throw on in. Especially a balcony. If the rest of the ship isn't so good, I can at least hang out and enjoy the beautiful view from my own private area. If I can do that for 7 days for $300, I'd be very happy.

So, I'm really looking forward to other responses in hopes that I can learn how to find these deals, or get them to find me.

L-shaped Balcony on Dream for this December for $523pp. Booked early saver over 18 months ago. This is on Deck 8. Also received $50 OBC.

Check every day for any decrease or new specials to try to take advantage of them. Always book way in advance to get the cabin I want for the price I'm willing to pay.

Same here. I need to know how.

Casino deals? Please school me.

Basically, you spend a lot of money in the onboard casino and Carnival "rewards" you with offers so that you'll come back and make another donation to the casino.

If you're a gambler anyway, this is a great way to go. I'm not much of a gambler so spending thousands in the casino to get a deal on a cabin is not my idea of a deal.

Never in over 25 cruises across mainstream lines have we gotten a balcony for a 7 day cruise this time to Alaska, bonus destination, for $860, on the Carnival Legend in early Sept. Granted it is a pack and play rate, but wow. We jumped on it...
