Meet up pre-boarding

We will be two couples traveling together on Oasis next April. Once couple is staying at the Hilton Marina for a couple of nights post cruise, and the other is driving down from central FL the morning we embark. We'll be parking at Park N Go.

 

Is there a reasonable place to try to meet up so we can board together, or are we better off just keeping in touch and finding each other once we get on board?

Am I correct in assuming you are the couple driving down the morning of? Kinda hard to follow the scenario when you go back and forth between first person and third person when talking about yourself.

 

If so it's down to you (rather than the other couple) how important it is for both you and your travel companions to check in and board together. Best suggestion I can come up with is to take a cab from Park N Go to the Hilton Marina and pick them up there. Might be tight with four adults and their luggage, but could easily be faster than waiting for your respective shuttles to the port. If this sounds too complicated--or you find eschewing the included-in-the-price shuttle against your principles--its best to just locate each other once on the ship. Two couples trying to meet up among six thousand of their brand new friends in Terminal 18 is a stressful and likely futile way to kick off their vacations.

Yep, we're driving down morning of. Taxi to hotel may work, or this could just be too much effort. Thanks for the input!

Why don't you meet somewhere like Dennys for breakfast and take a cab from there? You can get breakfast.
