What's the procedure for carrying a twelve pack of colas on the Jewel. I will be purchasing them in Seattle after flying in, so putting them in luggage is not practical.

We can slap a luggage tag on the 12 pack and have them delivered to our stateroom, correct? Just want to double check.

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own sodas, juices and water. You can check them or carry them on board. The products must be sealed or risk confiscation by the security. Make sure you tag them with your room tags so that they are delivered to your stateroom along with your luggage.

In some ports, they will not check in your soda/water cases with your bags but you can still carry them onboard with you.

We usually bring a duffle bag and carry it onboard. We checked it once and they must have dropped the bag because a bunch of cans had spring a leak...ick.

That happened to us before... Never again, we always carry them on now either by hand or in an extra bag.

Yep, turns out those Aluminum cans nowadays are very thin and subject to mechanical damage (nicks, dings, dents, etc). I had some get dinged in my car and leak....what a mess.

 

We carried on plastic bottles of soda....no issues.
