First Cruise Advice and Early Show/Dinner Reservation Question

Hello Everyone,

 

My wife and I will be taking our first cruise in 2 weeks on the Breakaway from NY - Bermuda -NY for 7 days. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Before finding this forum, I was a little apprehensive reading all of the negative reviews online but this forum seems like the place to be.

 

Also, should we book shows and specialty restaurant dinners in advance thru MyNCL.com?

YES! You should book your shows and specialty dining in advance. The Breakaway is a big beautiful ship, but that doesn't mean everything is supersized. The theater contains less seats than the ones on NCL's smaller ships. If you can't get a reservation online due to it being sold out, don't fret. There will be more openings on the day you board.
