cooncat Posted May 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2015 I know this topic has been discussed before, but, I'm looking to book the Independence of the Seas in November. The early dining time is not available. Would I be able to get it once I board the ship? I don't want to eat at 8:30 and I don't want anytime dining. Thanks. Ken at the beach Posted May 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) No guarantees. Best to sign up for MTD and make reservations for the same time (early every night) otherwise you may be stuck with the 8:30 time. Are you on a wait list for early? sky0000547 Posted May 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Best to sign yourself up for MTD and put on waitlist for early dining. What don't you like about MTD? Edited May 29, 2015 by sky0000547
dacsmom Posted May 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2015 I agree, sign up for MTD and request the same time each night. We had the same waitstaff every night even though we had different times scheduled.
cb at sea Posted May 29, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Yes...your chances of getting early seating is good...if not on the 1st day, by night 2. They want you happy!
cooncat Posted May 31, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted May 31, 2015 I solved the problem by booking a cruise to different places. To me, it's more the ship than the places. Thanks for the responses. My room by the way, is on the 8th deck right next to the hump. I believe it's an E2.
