Cruising on the Riviera in September 2015, does anyone have any views of bring alcohol on board, ie one bottle of whiskey and on bottle of gin.

It also one of our special days when one board and would like to take with us a special wine to celebrate to drink in the stateroom..Like to hear some comments

You may take on all you like, so long as you:

A) use it in your cabin

B) don't make a nuisance of yourself, otherwise.

Glasses, ice and mixers may be ordered via room service, as may a cork screw for the wine.

Should you prefer to drink the wine in a lounge or one of the Restaurants, there is a $25 corkage fee.

Corkscrews are in the mini fridge

As others noted

You can take your bottle of wine to the dining venues & pay the corkage fee ($25)

Otherwise drink it in your cabin for free

Please respect the generous policy of allowing alcohol & wine to be allowed to be brought aboard to drink in your cabin & do not take your glass of booze to other parts of the ship
