cruisenfever Posted May 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Can you exchange American dollars for Euros on a Mediterranean cruise? Does the ATM have Euros? What is the ATM fee? Yes, but you will be paying the exchange rate for that day and time. It changes constantly. When we cruise overseas and want Euros, we go to Wells Fargo at this site https://www.foreignexchangeservices.com/index.html?partnerid=FES&serviceType=order and order what we need. If you order in the morning, you will have your money by the next morning. You can put any money you purchase on a credit card. They do charge a $15 processing fee, if that matters. Ashland Posted May 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Can you exchange American dollars for Euros on a Mediterranean cruise? Does the ATM have Euros? What is the ATM fee? Yes...you can also use guest services..We have exchanged US$'s for different (local) currencies that will be needed before getting into the various ports....the small excange fee was well worth the convenience of doing it this way for us. abhb Posted May 29, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Thanks for the info. I got a few hundred Euros from my bank. We are doing private excursions and they all want Euros not credit cards.
