Two weeks ago Regal parked under the Akershus Fortress, closest point to the city centre. One of the most convenient locations of the entire cruise, and one of the very few times at all the ship got the preferential spot!

Princess uses multiple piers in Oslo. Most of the time they dock at Akershuskaia, but it looks like they will also be using Filipstad at least once this year.

 

You can find the latest pier assignments on the Oslo port authority's website:

http://oslohavn.no/no/cruise/

 

The locations of the different piers (kaiplass) are marked on the port guide map in my signature.

(Find the Pier Location layer and turn it on. I'm still trying to upgrade it to the new, annoying version of Google Maps.)
