Can you get into Atlantis for free?

Yes and No. You can walk thru the lobbies, enjoy the casinos, shop in thier pricey stores, stroll thru the Marina Village, check out the mega yachts in the Marina and have a meal at most of their restaurants without being a guest. You can check out the Comedy Club and Dance Club for an entry fee. Before and after hours, you can even stroll thru the DIGS, which is usually guarded from Breakfast time thru dinner. Or, you can pay $29pp to enter the DIGS and aquariums during regular business hours.

 

You CANNOT stroll thru the grounds, enjoy the pools, slides, lagoons and water activities, or eat at the outdoor restauants on the property. You cannot use their beach, chaises, towels etc. without being a guest. Only guests of Atlantis, Harbourside, Ocean Club and Comfort Suites are allowed full access to all of the facilities. There are security people throughout the property checking for ID bracelets.

However, you can tour the Digs for free after 7:00 p.m. We were there in June and the aquarium was great! Not very crowded and our kids loved it!

When we were at the Atlantis Resort in April we paid to go through the Dig and outdoor aquariums, they gave us bracelets and when the guards saw them they let us go pretty much where we wanted to. The grounds are beautiful. Plan on going again on our next cruise. Linda

I had not read about the outdoor aquariums. Can you tell me about these? Is it just 1 price for both the Digs and the other aquarium areas? Was this a cruise line excursion or did you just buy your ticket there at the Atlantis? Thanks for any info!
