Voyagers Posted June 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2015 We are cruising on the Pearl next week. We have an interior room for 3 persons. I have a CPAP machine. Can anyone advise how long of an extension cord I will need? Thanks very much!
Gershep Posted June 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Not sure how many feet you would need but my husband brings a 12ft extension cord. On the Breakaway the outlet was across the room.
cruisin0504 Posted June 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2015 I was also told to request distilled water prior to boarding.
Planefixer Posted June 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2015 I have a Resmed S9. They have a rechargeable battery option. Don't know what brand you have but it is something to look into. Perfect for traveling.
geegee1 Posted June 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2015 My CPAP already has a pretty long cord, and it's never been an issue in the room. I would bring a power strip with you though, there aren't that many outlets.
norway olin Posted June 11, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2015 I always carry an 8 foot extension cord with my Cpap. It has always been suffient for any cruise ship or hotel room. On most of my cruises the elec socket was on the other side of the room from the bed. During the day I just unplug it and shove the extension under the bed. I never was concerned about getting distilled water on the ship, but your mileage may vary.

mmbcater Posted June 11, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 11, 2015 He carries a 15' cord-just to be sure. We also bring duct tape to tape down the cord-so no one trips over it during the dark of night...
