She was asking for an opinion. She clearly has her own ideas about the dress, which she stated as being comfortable with wearing,thus she was probably wanting others reactions sort of as backup. There is no need to be rude to someone for asking a question. That is what these boards are for.

Nope, I think your red dress will be awesome and so will the turquoise dress as that is the style I will be wearing for formal nights on RC, No gowns for this lady and if I wouldn't worry about tripping over a long dress I would wear that to formal night also. So you have my vote, go for it, you are on vacation. Have a great trip.

Cute dress and on Carnival you could even wear it in formal night and fit in. I would just wear black sandals that would match the other outfits rather than packing yet another pair of shoes.

I beg to differ. Maybe too casual for Cunard but certainly not for other lines.

 

 

You are right, it would be too casual for Cunard. The dress is a day dress, not an evening dress. I have some similar dresses like that, I wore them only during the day.
