New question on Dr.'s gift--wine tips??

Hi, earlier this week I asked about ideas for a gift for our Mom's Dr. This morning I called his office and asked the nurse what "things" he liked. She said he was a "red wine connoisseur".

 

Of the ports we will be in (Charleston, Freeport, Nassau, St. Martin, St. Thomas and San Juan) could anyone give me a specific place to look at or a specific name of wine to look for and a price range?

Out of your ports-- St Marten will be the cheapest. St thomas has their own alcohol and that would be different...something he could never ever get at home here.

Which cruise are you going on? Sounds like the same repositioning Celebrity cruise we'll be on in November..... You may be able to find something a little less expensive but you wont find a good wine thats actually made there. You can get some nice champagnes at the San Juan Duty Free shop in the airport.
