mediccruzin Posted June 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2015 All cruises to nowhere have been cancelled for all cruise lines for U.S. ports. The cruise industry lost a lawsuit about the crews and the cruises to nowhere.
cruizinisthebest Posted June 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2015 OP said they were holding out hope! There was no hope for me. I got the letter and then by the time I checked my cruise manager, the booking was already gone!:(
Rudyard Posted June 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Got mine this morning as well. I too was holding out hope for an extension to make it a four day cruise. I'm going to rebook on the Liberty. They have a four day to Cozumel leaving on December 8th.

christyran1228 Posted June 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Got my notice letter this morning that the December, 2016 CTN was cancelled - I had held out hope because my letter didn't come with the rest of those cancellations, was hoping they would add a day or two, but no! Me, too .... on the bright side, even though I only booked it to checkout the Breeze and a quick surprise little getaway for DH & I, after I let him in on my little plan - and that the US Govt smashed it all to he!! - we are going to talk tonight about booking a longer trip on the Breeze. Since it's coming over here earlier than planned and all .... :p
TexasCruiser52 Posted June 16, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Got my notice letter this morning that the December, 2016 CTN was cancelled - I had held out hope because my letter didn't come with the rest of those cancellations, was hoping they would add a day or two, but no! I had he same thought but received it today. We had both Galveston CTN booked in 2016. We are now switched to Freedom in Jan. 2016 & Liberty in Sept. 2016. The two CTN would have been fun week-ends. We had booked both of them Early Saver, reduced deposit & had a $30 OBC from a military sale. They honored the military OBC on one of them & reduced deposit on both. And yes the $50 OBC per the letter.
CoachT Posted June 16, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Galveston weather not looking too good for cruisin' just now. What bearing does that have on this post? Did you bother to read the first post?
isaiahsnana Posted June 16, 2015 Author #10 Share Posted June 16, 2015 My daughter has never cruised on a ship with a Cloud 9 Spa so we had booked this for her to try it out! I have found a three day on the Magic out of Port Canaveral as a substitute - the price is very similar but those plane tickets to Orlando - - - hmm. forwardcabin Posted June 16, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 16, 2015 We had been looking at going to Miami and taking Breeze to Galveston in Nov-Dec 2016. Wondered why they had set up a CTN when they could have made it a 14-day repositioning with an extra stop like Costa Maya on the way to Galveston. Now, there are no repositioning cruises as well--UGH!
