caribill Posted June 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Hello-Do the handicapped mini's on the Regal/Royal have covered balconies? Am sailing with my 80+ year old parents & direct sun is not good for them. Thanks, Chris All balconies on the sides of these two ships are covered. However, if the sun is at an angle, it can shine onto the balconies.

Here's a few photos from a friend's cruise in one. steilkurve Posted June 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2015 Not sure about the mini-suite for people with disabilities but the regular mini-suite I had was covered by the above balcony. Of course, even that cover won't protect you from sun early or end of day. My video below has a good tour of the mini-suite at the end. You do see the balcony.
