She will have a great time! We just got off a cruise on the Valor. My son is 8. He loved camp and never wanted to leave. He made lots of friends!

The Valor will not have as many bells and whistles as the Dream class ships do. But should be enough to keep a 9 year old busy.

She won't be able to go to the casino. Not to any of the bars. She will miss the adult comedy shows. No Wii to play with. Doesn't sound like fun to me.

 

J/K. She will have a great time. Took my youngest daughter when she was about 10. She loved it. That was on the Conquest. Just like the Valor.
