Any 0S's that are better than others 0n Explorer?

 

Any 0S t0 av0id?

 

*Balcony size

*Noise levels from upper decks.

*Quirks vis a vis suite size?

We were in 1300 last month post dry dock. They had replaced carpet, drapes, and reupholstered the furniture so room looked nice - this would be the same for all OS. All balconies are relatively small for an OS on this ship. This didn't bother us on the itinerary we were on, since we were at ports most days or it was cold. There is also a large window by the bed. The only issue we had with our room was the shower door wouldn't close completely, resulting in water on the floor (we just put an extra towel on the floor). Location was quiet, convenient to stairs and elevators. The only place the cabin showed its age was the fixtures in the bathroom had not been replaced in dry dock.

 

If you want a larger balcony, you might want to consider a grand suite (room is smaller than an OS, but larger balcony).

Just came off the Explorer, and I thought that the interior décor was alright, nice and new but rather dull. Most things quite dark
