cruzincraven Posted June 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2015 I noticed that some of the excursions include a Lobster meal but we don't eat Lobster or any kind of seafood. Will there be other options available?
chengkp75 Posted June 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2015 Would help to know what ports you are going to. Most "food" excursions in New England will feature seafood, but as I recall, there is usually a meat choice (not exactly gourmet, but meat) for those who are allergic, etc. Best bet is to contact either the excursion provider or the cruise line (for a ship sponsored excursion). ellieanne Posted June 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2015 Yes. There are options for people who do not eat lobster. Some places offer both a non-lobster meat option (steak/chicken/burger) and a vegetarian option, but other offer just one alternate selection that is vegetarian. Though in my experience most of the tours that offer a lobster lunch are offered without the lobster lunch as well, if in a slightly different way. I'd look into those so you won't have any issues with the menu.
cruzincraven Posted June 25, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Thanks so much. I am looking at a 5 day next fall on RCI Serenade going out of Boston and ports include Bar Harbor, St. John New Brunswick and Halifax. I was hoping there would be other food options.
