Casino money on msc meditereean cruises

I am going on the MSC divina out of Rome in July. first time on a Mediterean

Cruise. When you are in the casino can you put american dollars into the slot

Machine? If not, how do you play? Have to have euro?

The machines will only accept Euros in the Med. You can put your cruisecard into the machine for credit which will then be applied to your onboard account. It won't qualify for points as onboard spend.
