Prepaid dining?

Sailing on Breakaway next week. One of my friends is really looking forward to going to Ocean Blue. I was just checking and the first few days of the cruise there are not many reservations left, so to make sure we get in i wanted to reserve it now. But then I realized I had to pay now. What happens if we change our minds or something comes up? Ive never had to prepay for a meal in my life, even upscale restaurants in NYC don't do this so its completely foreign to me.

Yes....you can cancel. I believe it is up to 24 hours before dining. Not sure how they handle the cancellation once you're onboard.

If you cancel it 24 hours before, they will give you an OBC for the amount. Keep checking, because on one of my cruises I didn't get it and they sent me a check.

Above info is correct. They will not put it back on your credit card once on board. You only get on board credit. If you don't use it, they will send a check several weeks after your cruise.

They always hold back space for booking onboard so you can wait & book once you board. I've never encountered a problem waiting.
