mpdahmer Posted April 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I know this topic was addressed in the past but I can't find the posts and being that we are leaving early on Sat. morning I wanted to add the email address to the info we are leaving with family/friends. Any help would be greatly appreciated we are sailing on the Caribbean Princess. Mark D. 4/10/04 Caribbean Princess Crown-92; Grand-01...
Mrs_R Posted April 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2004 According to everything that I've read on the subject your email address would be: caribbeanprincess@princess.com And then on the subject line (very important): your cabin # and your name. I hope that helps. I plan on leaving the email address with my family in case there's an emergency when I sail on the Sun Princees next month. -Donna QEII 1973 QEII 1974 NCCL Southward 1982 Sun Princess 2002 Golden Princess 2003 Until the Sun Princess 2004! stepg Posted April 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2004 MRS_R, While that has always been true for me on other Princess ships, I was on the inaugural of the Diamond and NONE of the emails sent to the address format you mentioned got through to me... I hope it was just a glitch because it was the first voyage -- but I suppose the possibility exists that they are phasing out this option, now that people have access to their email at the internet cafes. Let's hope not.
tpmartin Posted April 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2004 The e-mail for the ships are *******princess@princesscruises.com YOu just have to fill in the name of the ship like Star, Diamond, Dawn etc. Tom M Chandris Brittanis & Gallileo Celebrity Zenith Carnival Destiny Dolphin IV,Dolphin Seabreeze Dolphin Oceanbreeze RCCL Song of Norway & Explorer of the Seas Grand Princess & Dawn Princes <FONT color=blue size=4>Caribbean Princess here we come!! <FONT color=blue size=4> UNTIL PURE RELAXATION ON THE ISLAND PRINCESS IN HAWAII!!! sunnyv Posted April 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2004 The Diamond isn't the only NEW ship that doesn't receive e-mails using the above mentioned format. The Coral had the same problem. MARK D: because you are only on the 3rd sailing, I wouldn't count on it getting to you. Sign-up for a Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail account and use the internet Cafe to check/send messages on your e-mail. dcourt Posted April 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2004 While we were on the Star Princess last October we received several emails from family. You do address it as Starprincess@princesscruises.com. In the subject you put your name and cabin number. It was really nice. We would find our email in our mailbox outside our door every evening. Hope this helps!!
