Separate Embarkation

Ok my fellow cruise critics.... Do 2 people traveling in the same cabin have to check in and embark at the same time? I can't find any information on Carnival's site regarding this.

Your help is much appreciated!!

No, the cabinmates don't have to board at the same time. To board separately, you will need individual boarding passes rather than one boarding pass with both names. When you go to print the documents, just check in the box indicating you want separate boarding passes, and you're good to go.
