Poop_Deck Posted July 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2015 We will be in Tortola on my husbands 40th birthday. He loves being in the water with animals (we have swam with Sting Rays, Turtles, etc). I am thinking of booking him the Dolphin Encounter at the Prospect Reef Facility as a birthday gift. Has anyone done this excursion? Feedback? As it is only a 2 hour excursion, is there a beach near by that we can go to after? Thanks for any information you can provide!:o
blue_water Posted July 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2015 The dolphin discovery at Prospect Reef is a short tax from port. For a beach after you'll want to taxi to Long Bay, or to Cane Garden Bay or Brewers Bay depending on what you're looking for. A unique excursion from Tortolas the Baths on Virgin Gorda, and if you can go with the Patouche (dot com, contact Joe) that's a great birthday. And Aristocat offers snorkel trips to the Norman Caves and the Indians, another excellent and memorable day. I would suggest one of these over the dolphin swim.
