Dolphin Experience

We will be in Tortola on my husbands 40th birthday. He loves being in the water with animals (we have swam with Sting Rays, Turtles, etc). I am thinking of booking him the Dolphin Encounter at the Prospect Reef Facility as a birthday gift. Has anyone done this excursion? Feedback? As it is only a 2 hour excursion, is there a beach near by that we can go to after? Thanks for any information you can provide!:o

The dolphin discovery at Prospect Reef is a short tax from port. For a beach after you'll want to taxi to Long Bay, or to Cane Garden Bay or Brewers Bay depending on what you're looking for.

A unique excursion from Tortolas the Baths on Virgin Gorda, and if you can go with the Patouche (dot com, contact Joe) that's a great birthday. And Aristocat offers snorkel trips to the Norman Caves and the Indians, another excellent and memorable day. I would suggest one of these over the dolphin swim.
