Favorite casual restaurants

I've been looking on Trip Advisor and reading the boards but thought I would still post a new thread.

 

What are your favorite restaurants here? I would be interested in hearing about any casual seafood places and any casual places that have great bar/pub food such as appetizers.

 

It would be great to have a view of the water or a marina.:):):)

It appears that you are sailing about a year and a half from now. Things could change.

 

For casual beachfront, toes in the sand, seafood, our favorite is Calmos Cafe in Grand Case. :)

Our favorite casual restaurant was "Caribbean Blend". The restaurant was right on the beach as you get off of the water taxi downtown. We split a grilled Grouper and Mahi-Mahi sandwich. Best grilled fish I've ever had in my life.

I'm looking for a food tour, I found St Maarten Culinary Tours, but, their Facebook page hasn't had any activity in over a year and the website is down. Can anyone recommend another tour? Thanks.
