Boston Uber??

Looks like Uber is in Boston from what I've found on line. But thought I would ask for confirmation on here. I know in some cities the taxi cab drivers are fighting Uber. So, can anyone confirm that Uber is on the Boston area? Plans are to Uber from BW Quincy to Black Falcon cruise port.

Yes, Uber is in Boston, but unlike NYC and other places, there is no regulation on the drivers. It is in the works, but nothing yet. My son lives and works in Boston and uses Uber frequently.

My daughter also uses Uber in Boston and has never had any issue with using it.

BW Quincy offers a free shuttle to the port. It is one of their perks.

They've been giving me the run around. First I was told by 3 different people (on 3 different calls) that I couldn't book the shuttle until check in since I wasn't parking a car with them. Then on the 4th attempt I was told that since I didn't book directly with the hotel I couldn't use their cruise port shuttle. I will try once more upon check in but may end up taking uber since my understanding from those on my roll call that only 8am and 5pm shuttles have space at this point.
