Project Runway??

For those who care, the season premiere is this Thursday, August 20th:

Celebrity looks to be somewhat heavily involved with the show. Not only in providing a grand prize for the winner, but Celebrity President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo will be on the show as well.

This week's show is not the season premiere...it actually started two weeks ago. Each week has a different "sponsor" and this just happens to be the week based on a Celebrity Cruise challenge.

 

Last week's challenge was based on Hallmark cards and the designers made outfits out of however many greeting cards they could stuff into a bag within a given amount of time. AMAZING designs! The head of that division of Hallmark introduced the challenge so I'm guessing Lisa Lutoff-Perlo will do the same on this week's episode.

 

Looking forward to seeing what the Celebrity challenge is. My hope is they do something really creative and I will be HIGHLY disappointed if they are asked to simply design "cruise wear".:cool:

Meh. I've never seen the show - apparently we Canadians don't get it? - but I don't understand the negativity to the idea. After all, it's not like the muster drill; no one makes you watch it.

 

I'd certainly watch the show if I could, now knowing the Celebrity tie-in. Sounds fun.
