petrellad Posted July 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2015 If you don't want to go to Rome (cause you've been before and it's too far), take the time at Civitavecchia to catch up with free wifi. Your ship will offer a free shuttle to the port gates. From there walk to your right (in town) and you'll see Bar Vespucci. A small town bar with great coffee, pastries and free wifi. When you order a coffee (1Euro), ask for the wifi password. You'll see locals reading the paper, and crew from the ship facetiming. Have fun. Rare Hlitner Posted July 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2015 And for those looking for familiarity, they can simply walk over to McDonalds where they have free WiFi (and you do not have to spend 1 Euro. For the record there is no way DW and I would go to McDonalds unless we needed a rest room :). Hank
