b4cruze Posted July 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) I have booked a Lido balcony room but can upgrade to Suite on the Empress deck (7th). It's only a 4 day get-away to celebrate our anniversary. I love being on the Lido... Is having a suite worth it? Help!!! Edited July 15, 2015 by b4cruze
forwardcabin Posted July 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Suite not worth it for a 4-day. Stay on Lido--just steps away from all that Lido Deck has to offer...outdoor stuff plus buffets and other eateries.
cccer Posted July 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2015 I would stay on Lido. That is our favorite location. The only call I got from upsale fairy was a pretty good deal but I did not want to go from Lido to deck six so I declined. close to lots of fun stuff
You Me & the Sea Posted July 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2015 I personally would upgrade, but then I love the Empress deck. Cabins above and cabins below. I don't care to be too close to all of the action/noise. Depends on what's more important to you...steps from the action or peace when you need/want it. Happy cruising either way! Carnival Cutie Posted July 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2015 The lido deck is my favorite place to be on board. I have also become a fan of the Empress deck having sailed on it on the Imagination last year, it was such a convenient spot for everything. Having said that I probably would stay put. If it were for a week I would probably reconsider. On Carnival the main difference in the suite (besides the roominess) is that you'll have a bathroom with a tub as opposed to a shower. You'll have priority embarkation and debarkation. There's not much more of a difference IMO. Whatever your decision, enjoy your cruise.
Djptcp Posted July 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Suites are always worth it! The space, the larger balcony, and you are celebrating a special occasion, so why not? I have never turned down a suite.
