bignuttz Posted July 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2015 I was on the Glory in November and carnival supplied me with an extension cord. The room stewards will hook you up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
D4 Posted July 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2015 The cabin stewards may not have enough extension cords so they should being their own. Sorry, I haven't been in an inside cabin in a long time. The stewards usually have masking tape and will tape it on the floor to minimize the trip hazard.
rolaur Posted July 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2015 I always bring my own 30-foot cord. Better to have your own and too long then not be able to use you CPAP. Just my system but it has always worked.
BullDawg91 Posted July 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2015 FYI, I've read you should not bring a surge protector which seems counterintuitive.
hockeyluver Posted July 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Hubby keeps a 12 ft cord in his cpap case.
HELENPSL Posted July 22, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 22, 2015 We usually carry 2 - 12ft extension cords and haven't had a problem. There are so many people that use a C-PAP machine that I would be concerned about the ship running out of them. Easier to take your own. zephyrhillscruisers Posted July 22, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 22, 2015 FYI, I've read you should not bring a surge protector which seems counterintuitive. I'm told because the ships power comes from within and not a traditional power plant, a surge protector might cause a surge problem, so to speak. No problem here, we'll bring the standard ones for our machines.
clarkg Posted July 22, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 22, 2015 I keep my a extension cord in my CPAP too. I did ask for a cord the last cruise I went on thinking their cord would be better than the one I had. It was identical. You can probably use your own.
